'Saint' Farouk Lawan Accused Of Taking Bribe

The anti-corruption crusader and a member of the House of Representative Farouk Lawan has been accused of collection $600,000 (USD) bribe from an unnamed oil company implicated in the fuel subsidy scam. The money was for him to turn a blind eye to the involvement of the company.
Reports alleges that the money was marked and the the bribe was caught on video by the company officials who forwarded the clip to a former head of state who then forwarded it to the speaker of the House.
Farouk Lawal can be remembered in his role in the ettehgate and also his fight against any form of corruption in the house. The house has pledge to get to the root of the matter.The accused said that he will soon issue a statement on the allegation. 

Bomb Blast Hits Christ Chosen Church Jos While Gunmen Attacks EYN Church In Borno

A bomb today exploded in the Rukuba area of Jos,Plateau state. The suicide bomber targeted the Christ Chosen Church who blew himself up outside the church. The casualty figure has not been ascertained while gunmen attacks EYN church in Tabra Ward Borno state and killed 2 with many injured.

Husband sues Dana airplane manufacturer for wife’s death

A man David Chukwunonso Allison whose wife died in the Dana air crash have sued the manufacturers of the  air plane in the USA as he said that report of a failed engine points to the manufacturers. 

Dana Air Crash : Senate,FG Reacts

The Nigerian senate today asked that the DG of  Nigeria civil aviation authority(NCAA) Mr. Harold Demuren to be suspended until the investigation into the air crash is concluded. Meanwhile,the licence of Dana air has been revoked by the federal government indefinitely.

sector.He tweeted:

The special adviser of President Goodluck Jonathan tweeted ''A president that cares".
How did the president care by just visiting the site of the crash. If  it is in the western
countries,the minister and all the heads in the aviation sector would have kissed
 their jobs good bye. Imagine that a law was passed that any plane that is above
 20 is banned from flying but they allow customised coffins  to be flying and
 endangering the life of poor and innocent people.
